Ignite is a huge dps boost for Mages and any Warlock DoTs that run the risk of overwriting Ignite should not be used. In later instances like AQ40 or Naxxramas where Mages are fire-specced it’s very important that there is debuff room for the Mage Fireball DoT called “Ignite”. If there is still room for more debuffs on the boss then DoTs like Corruption and Curse of Agony could be used in moderation. Curse of Recklessness (CoR), Curse of Shadows (CoS) and Curse of Elements (CoE) are all mandatory to the point where you usually have three Warlocks individually dedicated to these spells to make sure they are always up on important targets. Which ones are going to be used is something you and your guild members have to discuss. “Expansive Mind” gives you 5% increased intellect which ends up being 16 in patch 1.7) there might still be room for Warlock debuffs. The playable Warlock Races are Human, Gnome, Undead and Orc where Gnome is the only Race with a racial that benefits Warlocks in PvE. At the end of the guide there is also a chapter on how to tank the Twin Emperors in AQ40.īefore I get into talent specs and gear I’d like to quickly talk about Race choice. This post also includes a list of pre-raid gear and enchants, details about world buffs and useful consumables and so on. This guide is meant for players who are new to the Warlock class and want to understand the different playstyles and talent builds the class has to offer in PvE. I raided every instance in Vanilla WoW in a hardcore setting for a long time and decided to share what I learnt so far. On top of that they bring a ton of utility to the raid Soulstones, Curses, Blood Pact and top AoE abilities. Warlocks are mainly brought to raids for their high damage output and the class is arguably the most competitive dps class in late 1.12 content. This guide was originally published by Topdps on the Crestfall forums and has been preserved here. An in depth raiding guide for Warlocks in World of Warcraft Classic.

It doesn’t really add too much that would be able to address complaints about content, but there’s a pair of good maps and a great new game mode that tie in nicely to the impending film. Born in the Unknown Regions, the remaining armies and naval forces are led by Supreme Leader Snoke, when the First Order. The First Order avows legitimacy as a successor state to the Galactic Empire, and also serves as nemesis of The Resistance. The Battle of Jakku really is just the first step of DICE’s plans to expand the game, with more maps and modes planned, both for free and as part of the season pass. The First Order is an autocratic military dictatorship which formed from the remnants of the Galactic Empire, after the events of Battle of Jakku. It’s a fairly traditional layout, with three paths that run the length of the map, but with that simplicity comes a good flow and an ease of understanding where you are. It too takes inspiration from the intense battle and the wreckage left behind, with an AT-AT crumpled against the wall of the central canyon. On the other end of the scale, Goazan Badlands is the Jakku map added for modes like Blast or Cargo. It’s a good game mode that could add some much needed variety to the other 40-player game types. While Graveyard of Giants adds a fifth map to Supremacy, Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron, it’s disappointing that Turning Point doesn’t come to the other large scale maps. Cleverly, the battle starts weighted in the Rebellion’s favour, as they must only capture one of three control points, but it slowly shifts towards the Empire, as this diminishes down to just a single point for the fourth and final defensive line, allowing them to focus their efforts much better. Turning Point is a clever twist on the traditional Rush mode from Battlefield games, where the rebels must move forward to capture and hold control points and push the defensive line back, time and again. The action on the ground strives to be similarly epic.
